If freedom of religion should be stopped at the front door to schools, should not the rest of the First Amendment also be similarly restricted? School-sponsored protests on gun control are a perfect example. Imagine a school-sponsored protest to support religious beliefs to stop violence and the outcry. So what is the difference? I am sure there were plenty of students that felt marginalized or forced to partake in the school sponsored protests against the Second Amendment. Why is their angst any less than that of an Atheist that sees an Isle of dogs I bite shirt on a teacher?
Isle of dogs I bite shirt, youth tee, ladies tee, ladies v-neck
It doesn’t matter why she wore the Isle of dogs I bite shirt, she has a right to wear it and she has the right to pray and believe in the power of God, society has gone haywire thinking that God doesn’t exist or matter anymore. I pray for those that think the action by the school was ok because it WAS NOT and I truly believe our schools, as well as society, have much greater issues than a shirt.
Isle of dogs I bite shirt, tank top, hoodie, sweater and long sleeve
When did it become appropriate for teachers to wear casual clothes to their duties in the classroom? Shirts with slogans of any kind should not be considered proper dress and if there is a dress code for students there should always be an adult and professional dress code for teachers and staff.
